Bison – Our latest brew, an American Brown Ale
We’re proud to introduce our latest seasonal release: Bison – American Brown Ale (4.2% ABV).
Crafted with care, Bison is a beer that brings together the best of malt character and hop vibrancy. Expect rich layers of biscuit and caramel, a subtle chocolate roast, and a bright lift from hops that showcase grapefruit, pine, and raisin. The result? A smooth, balanced, and moreish ale, finishing clean with a gentle hoppy bitterness that leaves you reaching for another sip.
The Story Behind Bison
Brown ales have long been a favourite for their depth and drinkability, and with Bison, we’ve given the style a fresh seasonal twist. It’s bold enough to stand up to hearty flavours, yet refined enough to enjoy on its own – a true all-rounder that fits perfectly as the seasons change.
Perfect Pairings
Beer and food shine brightest when enjoyed together, and Bison is no exception. Its malty richness and hoppy edge make it a versatile companion at the table:
-
Grilled or roasted meats – The caramel and roast notes complement charred flavours beautifully. Think barbecued brisket, roast chicken, or lamb chops.
-
Cheese boards – A nutty cheddar or creamy blue cheese finds balance in Bison’s hop bite.
-
Hearty comfort foods – Burgers, stews, or a classic shepherd’s pie pair seamlessly with its malt depth.
