Our fifteen named drives each provide exceptional and challenging sport, with something to suit every team and every shot. After a day in the field, guests can unwind in our beautiful shoot lodge — converted just twenty years ago, yet designed to evoke the warmth and charm of a bygone era.
For those wishing to make an overnight stay, The Bell at Ramsbury offers the perfect retreat. Situated in the heart of the village, it serves outstanding food and Ramsbury’s own award-winning beers — an ideal way to end a day in the field. Guests are also encouraged to visit the Ramsbury Brewery & Distillery, where our craft beers and spirits are made on the estate.

Fishing on the Ramsbury Estate
The Kennet river is a classic chalk stream, rising twelve miles west of Axford, near the historic area of Avebury. It is fed by springs from the underlying chalk aquifier and its purity is second to none.
It is home to a variety of British wildlife such as otters, water voles, grey herons and brown trout. The Kennet is abundant with trout and throughout the summer makes an excellent fishing location, whereby on a bright sunny day you can sit and fish in approved locations on the Ramsbury estate.
